I'm a stay at home mom of 4 cute kids. I love anything that has to do with homes & decorating. My husband Steve often gets recruited into helping me finish things that I start! We are making our house a "HOME" one project at a time!!

Christmas In The Family Room....

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at our house.
Outside it's been feeling like Spring, so It's been hard to find the "spirit" to pull out all of our Christmas decor.
It could also be this little cutie...
She really likes to help, which means it takes twice as long to put back what she pulls down!
It's been exhausting, but luckily she chilled on the couch for a few minutes to watch Dora The Explorer!!
 It was a Christmas Miracle!!

Here's our Family Room Mantle....
It's a little different than last year, but we couldn't put up our Santa's because the little cutie above was traumatized by a real Santa at the mall this weekend...It was so sad!

I always keep our small tree "simple"...

 I love wreaths!

These cute block letters were given to me by my sweet sister-in-law last year...She made them & they turned out so cute!
I love my big snowflakes from the dollar store...
 My Nativity....
It was a gift from my Parent's years ago & I just love it!
Here is the whole room...
It's finally done, but now I have a HUGE mess in my basement to clean!
Christmas decorating is hard work, but it's so cozy when you FINALLY finish!!
I'm sharing with these blogs:

  1. Looks fantastic. I managed to get out some holiday decorations this week, with a little help from my 3-year old. He was a good helper and decorated his tree and his brother's too. He was so proud to do it all by himself - I didn't even have to fix them afterwards either. Since they were only small 4 foot trees he could reach the very top. I have a HUGE mess in my basement still to clean up as well. Happy cleaning to us both!

  2. How beautiful! I love your mantel so much -- especially the wreath hanging in the center. And the nativity set is so sweet. Thanks for the Christmas-y tour! ;-)

  3. Just beautiful! Our family room is too small for our big tree, but I may need to steal your idea and find a small one to keep in our family room. I also need to run to the dollar store for those snowflakes! If you have a sec this weekend, I would love for you to share at Get Schooled Saturday! http://too-much-time.com/2012/11/get-schooled-saturday-50.html
