Our kitchen remodel is "slowly"moving along, but we are making progress...
I LOVE woodwork, it completely changes the whole feel of a room. It adds so much character.
I knew it was a good sign when it was beautiful before it was even painted, but
I couldn't believe my eyes when the paint was actually applied.
It's gorgeous...
They are finishing up the paint this week, upper cabinets will be installed on Monday & then counter tops are next. I'm starting to see there is an end in sight!
I'll admit my patience is beginning to run out.
We have been under construction for over 4 months now!
When they delivered the appliances & we had to move furniture & take off the front door, I couldn't help but think it would of been easier to just move! ;)
It is going to feel like a whole new house in the remodeled area when it's done though!
Hopefully, I'll be able to have a final reveal soon!!

Love the ceiling - it's hard living without a kitchen. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to keep things running smoothly with all the construction going on. But it will be so nice to have it all updated. I love the added woodwork for the columns too. Just a bit longer and you'll be cooking away in that new remodel!! Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy! Cooking isn't always my favorite thing and I never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait to cook dinner again! Thanks for the sweet comment!

DeleteHang in there! It's going to be beautiful! I keep putting off my kitchen renovation because I am so afraid of being without a kitchen for so long. At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Shelley, that is why we waited so long too. It's amazing how much you miss having the kitchen. My little boy asked the other day, "So when do we get to eat in the kitchen again?" I guess we are all glad we are coming to the end of the process! Thanks for the encouraging comment, I appreciate it!
DeleteIm loving the woodwork you've had done! I totally agree with you that it adds so much beauty and character to a home!
ReplyDeleteOh this is going to be one over the top amazing kitchen !!!

Great progress. We are wimps about redoing our kitchen. I keep showing Chucks posts like yours to encourage him to budge. I love the woodwork you have added. So open!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a big project! Love the beadboard ceiling!
ReplyDeleteThose wood columns are awesome, I love columns and have some in our house and deck. I can relate to the stress with kitchen remodel, we did one over 5 years ago and I don't think I'm over it yet. Thanks for sharing at Sunday's best, hope to see your creativeness at Sunday's Best tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI think gorgeous is an understatement. The room looks divine with all that white. The style of that wooden column is really tasteful and elegant. I can just imagine what that room would look life after everything's been finished. All the furniture, decor and accents adore the room. I'm sure it'll look amazing. Kudos!
